Accessibility Statement
Last updated August 24, 2026
Harbor Garage Door Repair wants every customer to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control. Booking a garage door repair should not depend on how you browse.
What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at Level AA. That is the standard commonly referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act for websites like ours.
What we have done
- The whole site can be operated with a keyboard, with a focus outline that shows where you are. We are still tuning it so it stays visible on the darker sections.
- A skip link lets keyboard and screen reader users jump straight to the main content.
- Every form field has a real label that is programmatically connected to its input, and the form announces success and error messages to assistive technology.
- Images carry alternative text describing what is shown.
- Headings are marked up as headings, so a screen reader user can navigate the page structure.
- Text and background colors were chosen for contrast, and text resizes without breaking the layout.
- The site works at small screen sizes and does not require horizontal scrolling.
- The phone number is a real link, so it can be activated rather than transcribed.
Known limitations
This is a new site and we are still testing. Last reviewed against the site code on August 24, 2026. We have not had an independent audit and we do not claim full conformance. If you hit something that does not work, we want to know.
